Veterans Day

We can all be grateful for our military men and women who serve and have served and died in the name of freedom proved by our constitution for all Americans.

Our constitution is worth protecting! The current administration has made a mockery of it in many ways, along with the disdain for our men and women in uniform who serve us. Disagree if you think that there is something better than freedom for all, provided by our troops.

Not only is Veterans Day a great day to remember and honor those who serve our nation in uniform, but to realize that, if the current administration doesn’t respect our military, it surely doesn’t respect us.

I served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during peacetime as a security policeman (SP). I had it made compared some of those who have served bravely over the past 12 years in Afghanistan and Iraq, or those who served in previous wars involving our troops. These military men and women deserve respect from ALL of us.

God bless our troops, past, present and future! – Jon Kennedy
