Be ever vigilant…

It’s true that there are many people on the internet that live to misinform others and lead them in the wrong direction. It is, after all, the information age – but it’s far from all reliable information for sure! I write and post different perspectives quite often here. It is up to you to decide whether or not it suits you. My advice is to be ever vigilant of what comes your way via e-mail, internet or media of any type, including hearsay from others standing right next to you. If you have the time to research the topic of interest, it would be a great idea. So many e-mailings contain bogus information, for instance, that it’s easy to get a forwarded message from someone regarding, perhaps, something political that is probably not true. Yet it’s passed on to many others who haven’t even attempted to look into the issue. Before you know it, many people are sudden experts talking about things that are false. Just know that a little research can make all of the difference in finding the facts and knowing what you’re talking about. God bless America! – Jon Kennedy

Pray for America

Pray to God that America can weather the storm she is currently going through. Pray that the leaders who can do the most good for our country are elected in November. Pray that America remains the beacon of hope it has been for centuries. Above all, pray for love to dominate the world. Amen. – Jon Kennedy

God bless those in the hurricane zone!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those in the hurricane zone who must tough out the storm over the next 36 hours. God give them the strength to endure this adversity that has entered into their lives. Amen.

Enough is enough...

Politics: there’s the left or the right - take your pick. We’ve arrived at a point in our history where there is no longer any bi-partisanship, and the political landscape is in a state of extreme toxicity. Neither side is willing to talk or listen to each other. Americans can no longer discuss politics without the inevitable heated debates affecting relationships with friends and family members on opposing sides. This does nothing for bringing the citizens of this country together. It certainly doesn’t raise us up in any way. In order for things to begin working again, the people of this nation need to be at a point in their lives where they are fed-up completely with the current two-party system that no longer seems to serve “we the people,” much like that moment in 1776, with the signing of our Declaration of Independence. During that time, the American colonists were tired of being oppressed for many years by England across the Atlantic Ocean. Those who rose to the occasion, our forefathers, declared that enough is enough. When the people of this nation are ready, leaders emerge, they take dramatic action, and true change occurs for the eventual betterment of all; it happened in 1776. For one thing, it will be the long awaited end for the insanity of political correctness that has done nothing but bring this country down notch by notch for years. Here’s to America, a nation we can, and always want to be proud to be a part of! – Jon Kennedy

God is your courage...

When the unexpected happens to you or someone you know - whatever it may be - you have the options to adapt to the situation and go on, or fall-apart and become useless. What will it be? Life is full of moments like this or it wouldn’t be life as we know it. By choosing to adapt, your shell gets much tougher, making it easier to deal with the next event that comes along. By falling apart, your shell becomes much thinner, making it even tougher the next time a traumatic situation arises in your life. Courage begets confidence to carry on; weakness begets little, if any reward. Remember, God is your courage to get you through anything! – Jon Kennedy

This perfect puzzle…

More than merely incredible and magnificent is the fact that you will always have a place in this Universe because you are the Universe. You can’t remove a piece of it and expect it to remain the ultimate entity that it is. You are an integral piece of this perfect puzzle, created by God, that would be incomplete without you, whether body or spirit. You are significant! – Jon Kennedy

Far beyond incredible…

Even if you feel that life is ridiculous, makes no sense, is meaningless, and adds up to nothing special, keep in mind that God has placed us here for a reason that we don’t have to spend our lives trying to figure out. God has everyone and everything in its place. When people or things get out of place, it’s corrected naturally – every time. What we’re a part of is far beyond incredible and magnificent, regardless of how we personally view our lives. We are all blessed for eternity! – Jon Kennedy

The only thing that really counts...

Love will be the only thing that we can take along with us when our earthly moment has ended. Soak up and share all the love you can during your life. It’s the only thing that really counts. Everything else is just fluff and stuff. – Jon Kennedy

God has the final say...

If you’re concerned about the outcome of the upcoming elections, don’t waste your time or energy for another second. Instead, allow God to take care of the much larger picture, knowing that whoever wins, it’s just a small part in the grand scheme of things for all of us. Simply understand that God has the final say in all matters. – Jon Kennedy

Let God take care of the details…

Why should we love our enemies? We are all of God, and disliking others, no matter how misguided they may be is the equivalent of disliking what God has created. It’s easy to love our friends. The real experiment comes convincing yourself that you can forgive and love others who do unspeakable things to you due to their flaws. Forgiving those individuals lets you realize that we are all human beings capable of committing good and bad deeds. Remember, whatever any of us choose do with our lives is usually something we consider to be the right thing, even if it’s a criminal act that God disproves of. So rather than trying to waste time changing people who are unchangeable, open a strong line of communication with God and let the Creator know that you’re concerned about someone’s troubles, including your own, whatever they may be. Just let God take care of the details, keeping in mind that our Creator is infinitely capable of anything at all. Think only about God, not the problem. Why? Because it’s God who will correct any problematic flaws - not us. Repeat this process often and place God, first and foremost, in your daily life. God bless you! – Jon Kennedy

If kids knew…

If kids knew just how short life really is, they would never say anything mean or hurtful to their parents ever again. Instead, they would cherish the moments they have with them fully realizing that every moment together is much more precious than they had previously imagined. Cures for all diseases...

Better days ahead will include cures for all diseases. Drugs will no longer be used to simply treat patients in order for big pharma to be a huge money-making machine. The ridiculous television drugs and commercials will disappear. Ask your doctor to do away with these TV drugs! Also, food and other products that we need daily will actually be healthy to consume once again for the first time in decades, free of any dangerous ingredients such as high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, propylene glycol or sodium laureth sulfate that our bodies can’t properly process, and are a main cause of the obesity epidemic. By the way – hydrogenated oils are just one molecule away from being a form of plastic! You’ll be surprised just how many products contain the aforementioned ingredients if you read the labels. Those are the days I look forward to seeing for all of us! May they come to fruition as soon as possible! – Jon Kennedy

Find happiness…

Life can sometimes become so unbearable for various reasons that it can make you physically sick and mentally fatigued beyond belief. What do you do in this case? You have to work extra hard so as not to allow yourself to stop caring about anything. As long as you’re alive, your life must go on. Through it all you must find happiness or it will become more and more of a challenge to find yourself in that state. Force happiness if you must at first, but get that way no matter what it takes. Now, stay that way as long as possible. Remember, our lives here on earth are temporary. It’s our spirit that will endure for eternity. Be happy in this knowledge! – Jon Kennedy

What God intended for you…

Our passing is the last piece of the puzzle of this life and makes our cycle here complete. When you’ve reached the end of your life and think back on what you did over your lifetime - as long as it was honorable, it’s what God intended for you to do regardless of what you may think you should have done otherwise. Try to dispute this and you’ll find that it’s irrefutable. – Jon Kennedy

The really big picture…

If you place all of your eggs in the basket of this life and think it’s your one and only moment to ever live, then you are not looking at the really big picture. This life is fleeting and counts as just a very small portion of your spiritually eternal existence that has been granted to you by our Creator. Don’t fear that your time on earth will come to pass one day. Instead, rejoice in knowing that you will always exist as a spirit as long as God exists. Here’s to eternity! – Jon Kennedy

Live your days loving others…

If you choose to live your days loving others rather than finding
all of their faults and being petty, then you are living the life God would have

One way of spreading goodness…

Do whatever you must to keep your spirit raised high at all times, filled with love and compassion for others. It’s too easy to let it fall, so don’t allow it. Your reason for being here…

If you think that your life is insignificant and adds up to little or nothing at all – think again! No matter what you think, God has placed you here and has the final say in what is or isn’t significant, not you or me. You need not know your reason for being here on earth – God knows why you are here. – Jon Kennedy

Your eternal existence…

Be grateful not just for your life here on earth, but for your eternal existence. Here you are a part of something as magnificent as that! – Jon Kennedy

Comfortable in your own skin…

Only when you become comfortable in your own skin will your life begin to flow with less effort, because you will be comfortable with yourself and where you’re going. And you won’t be concerned with what others say or think about you. You’ll love the feeling. – Jon Kennedy
