How you deal with the challenge…

Your life can be very organized, cut and dry and easy going. Your life can also change quickly and be turned upside down, leaving you scratching your head wondering what happened. How you deal with the challenge can make all of the difference. Caving in and falling apart will take you nowhere. Concentrate and think only of God and all of the wonder that God is, and can do for us. No longer concentrate on your obstacle. Allowing God, our creator of the Universe to take care of everything for us, regardless of the problem or situation, can help tremendously! – Jon Kennedy

You decide that you’re ready…

It’s only when you decide that you’re ready to do whatever it is that you want to do with your life that you’ll go ahead and do it without resistance and with much satisfaction. If someone forces you do something against your will, you’ll do it with resistance and sparse satisfaction. You are the only one who can be ready to act on your desires no matter who you are. No on else can do this for you; it’s all up to you. – Jon Kennedy

Love can be felt latently…

We recognize love easily when we feel it for someone and they feel it for us – but not always. Love can be felt latently when it’s tough love. An example would be, having to bitterly discipline your child for not following your wishes that would have kept him or her out of trouble. The parent is upset with the child for breaking the rules and inviting danger. In turn, the child is upset with the parent for all of the discipline, even though the child was in the wrong. Only at a later time does the child realize that the parent’s discipline was an act of love. Once realized, the child has more love and respect for the parent for having intervened. From this incident a lesson is learned, and love grows. – Jon Kennedy

It’s your ego kicking into high-gear…

The moment you become concerned with what someone else negatively says, thinks or feels about how you’re living your life in any way, just know that it’s your ego kicking into high-gear as a defense. Kick it right back into the lowest gear possible and don’t ever allow anyone to disrupt your peace of mind. Remember, with God on your side, no one really has the ability to make you feel small for any reason, unless you allow it. – Jon Kennedy

Eternity...

Whether we’re a spirit living in the flesh or pure spirit after we’ve passed-on, we exist for all eternity in God’s Universe. – JonKennedy

Turn your thoughts and actions to this moment…

Be willing to let go and no longer be concerned with anything in your life that went astray, unaccomplished or unfulfilled. This is the moment that you have to do whatever it is you desire. You’ll never regain the moments of the past, so why dwell on them any longer? Turn your thoughts and actions to this moment, which is in your grasp, and fully live in this moment. You can do this, and it’s yours to create from moment to moment. – Jon Kennedy

One nation under God…

It’s amazing that someone can instantly be so seemingly hideous just because they’re running for a high political office. Don’t listen to this from either side of the aisle when you hear it. It’s more than obvious that both sides are anxious to win the office for the power and prestige they are running for. These slanderous depictions of, and by the opposing sides, could easily be concocted and directed at any one of us if we were in contention for the same elected political offices. Power and corruption can be one and the same. Still our American system of politics, be it far from perfect, is much better than that of other nations around the world - even now. If we are all for America, there are no sides; we are one nation under God. Pray for an enduring America and world for all of us. – Jon Kennedy

A great way to calm yourself…

Did you get to the end of your day and make the sudden discovery that you didn’t live in the moment, even though you said you would give it a try? The good news is that you can do it right now! Just keep on doing it whenever you think of it. Place reminders in key places to remember that this is a great way to calm yourself and release stress that you created in your life. Remember, you created the stress in your life and you can dissolve the stress in your life by living in the moment. Enjoy! – Jon Kennedy

You are the stress in your life…

Because you exist physically, you are the stress in your life as issues arise. Not existing on a physical plane is equivalent to no stress existing either. Get used to living in the moment and do away with your stress. When you are living in the moment, all kinds of extraordinary things can happen because your thoughts are right here and right now. How can you communicate with God, our Creator, when you’re not living in the moment? How can you accomplish anything else for that matter? It’s just you and your thoughts…

Unless you live in the moment, your mind is always on a journey into your past or potential future with a mix of positive and negative feelings swirling around in your head. When you find yourself so deep in thought that everything around you seems to disappear and it’s just you and your thoughts,then you know that you’re definitely not living in the moment. Your mind doesn’t know the difference between realities and remembered or imagined thoughts. Whatever you’re thinking, that's your reality; this is who you are. Change your thoughts, live in the moment, be love to all, and that’s who you can be, if you so desire. These three ideas can change your destiny in incredible ways! – JonKennedy

It’s so simple: LOVE is the ultimate answer to all of the world’s ills. Start squeezing out hateful words, thoughts and feelings toward others no matter how challenging it may be for you. Keep pushing and squeezing them out until you can no longer find anything bad to say, think or feel about anyone regardless of how they treat you.
