They are a lot more than just any businesses…

Are churches just businesses disguised as houses of worship that want your money? No, but if churches were to discontinue collecting gifts of money with their offering plates from parishioners each Sunday, they may as well roll up their welcome mats, lock their doors, and never offer a worship service to anyone ever again, because no funding equals no church to run.

However you may view churches and their religion, they are businesses, but they are a lot more than just any businesses. It’s true that they need tithes and offerings from their congregations on a continual basis in order to operate. But with the money that they receive, God’s will is accomplished over and over again every day. God’s will is that we serve those in need, and money is one great way to accomplish this.

If God’s will is honestly done with the gifts of money received by the church, then more will come, again and again, and it will multiply to help even more in need. You can be witness to this firsthand if you choose.
