Live in the moment and know God, Creator of our Universe. For our existence is always and only in the moment, and this is where you find God.

Go bravely forward…
When you're feeling
fearful about life for any reason, no one but you knows it. So why bother with
those feelings in the first place? The only person you're impressing in any way
is you by making yourself sick. It’s not until you begin to show outward signs
of fear that others can even detect it. Otherwise, you’re in a fear-stricken
world of your own that can eat you up. Go bravely forward with your life, knowing
that our existence exceeds this moment that we’re living in by a factor of
eternity. God bless you! – Jon Kennedy
It’s you who gets upset…
If your day is
suddenly ruined because someone else failed to come through for you in any way,
and for any reason, then you’ve allowed it. Most likely you unknowingly gave
yourself permission to go sour and stew over something that probably won’t even
be remembered in the next day or two. Why fly off the handle just because
someone else can’t get things right for you? Be ready to give yourself
permission to stay sane and happy instead. It’s you who gets upset, and not the
person that makes everything a mess for you. – Jon Kennedy
Your choice...
Be happy because you
want to be, or be sad because you want to be. It’s your choice. – Jon Kennedy
States-of-mind that we take for granted…
This
state-of-mind that we call a weekend is just that, and it’s just one example.
Many other things and daily activities that surround us at any given moment are
also states-of-mind that we take for granted and simply follow every day
without even giving most of them a second thought. Go ahead and give these
things a second thought and you’ll soon discover that you can reinvent your way
of being from top to bottom. Can you feel the excitement grow as you
contemplate the potential that this notion has of delivering for you if you
should decide to take action? The possibilities are incredible! – Jon Kennedy
Your deep and meaningful life…
You can live a deep
and meaningful life and do many extraordinary things while you’re here, but you
don’t have to be so serious that your life becomes a total boar. You make the
rules for your deep and meaningful life. For instance, helping people can be
fun when you make it that way. It can become a game that you invent and play as
often as you desire. You can even make yourself the winner every time you play.
Enjoy playing! – Jon Kennedy

Life will go on…
We
really have no excuses in this life. We just make them up as we go. It’s as if we’re
indicating to others that we’re not ready to do whatever it is that we got
ourselves into in the first place. As we all know, however, life will go on no
matter what, excuses or no excuses. – Jon Kennedy

Your eternal existence…
When
you think that miracles never happen to you, think again. Here you are reading
this post right now. Is this not a miracle? You were born, you’re living your
life, and eventually you’ll pass on. Another spiritually miraculous adventure
will begin for you – and it’s all just a small portion of your eternal
existence. We are all spiritual miracles of eternity who were created by God. –

You may still be trying to go the way of your ego…
When you ask God, our
Creator of the Universe, how we can serve, you will be shown a way. If it doesn’t
seem to go the way you thought it would, then you may still be trying to go the
way of your ego rather than letting go and allowing God to direct you all of
the way. Think about it, and you’ll realize just about instantly that this is
the case. Here’s to allowing God to direct us in all aspects of our lives. –

Being happy…
Life can go on smoothly
for many, many years, followed by a rough patch. During the smooth period,
living is seemingly effortless and happy. During the rough patch, one thing
after another seems to pile up on you and things get worse. Find a way to feel
happy and imagine your life improving in all ways again. Any negative thoughts
during this moment in your life will surely keep it that way and may even make
the situation worse. However, feeling and staying happy, even when it feels
absolutely impossible, is the only direction for you to go. You really can feel
and stay happy when you give yourself permission. Give it a try. Why? Because simply
put, you can! – Jon Kennedy

The only moment to live your life…
If you’re wise, you’ll
realize that now is the only moment to live your life to the very fullest that
you possibly can. The past is gone forever and the future is always unreachable.
Now is the only moment to do whatever it is you desire with this life of yours.
If you understand this, you will know this to be true. Maybe you’re ready now,
and maybe you’re not. What is certain though is that you're the only one who knows. – Jon Kennedy

Get back on track…
Our
lives are based entirely on our wellbeing. The better we feel about ourselves,
loved-ones, our possessions, and the world, the more of an energy flow we have
to do and accomplish things. When any of the aforementioned are compromised, our
energy flow lessens and things become neglected in our lives. With God’s help
always available, however, we can get back on track to feeling better sooner
than later; just ask. – Jon Kennedy

A wonderful relationship with God…
It’s better to have
learned beforehand that you can ask God for anything at any moment by having a relationship
with our Creator, than to wait until you get into a rough situation in your life
and need to ask for assistance after the fact. If the going gets tough and you
already have a wonderful relationship with God, then you will much more easily
triumph, than if you have to build a relationship from scratch at a painful
moment in your life. The good news is that you can always begin to build a
wonderful relationship with God at any moment. – Jon Kennedy

Taking on the world all alone…
Not asking for, or
accepting God’s help or guidance is the equivalent of taking on the world all
alone and thinking you’ll get everything right. Why not just ask for God’s help
or guidance? – Jon Kennedy

Discard the ego…
You may feel like
you’re invincible and ready to take on and conquer anything that comes your way
because the world is your oyster, until some well-meaning person comes along
and tells you that what you’re doing is a bad idea and that it will never work.
In an instant your balloon is completely deflated and you give up on the idea,
never to witness its progress on the road to success. The deflated balloon is your
ego and it can be crushed by others quickly and with little effort. So discard
the ego that reeks of “me, me, me,” and ask God how you can serve others. Get
the focus off you and on to the greater good. You will be taken care of because
you are an “other” as well. God is waiting for us to serve. Now that we know
this, the decision is clear. – Jon Kennedy

We are all of God…
God proves to us over
and over again to be in our lives. We just need to take a moment to notice that
The Creator is with us for life and eternity. When we feel all alone, it’s just
a human state-of-mind. We are all of God, and that can never change. God bless
us all! – Jon Kennedy

Help someone else…
When
you’re feeling down, you’re too caught up in yourself and your thoughts. Help
someone else, and bring that person and yourself up again. It’s a great
feeling! – Jon Kennedy

Lives you can touch positively…
If
you ever feel compelled to help others who are in need, act on it right away.
You never know how many lives you can touch positively, including your own life,
if you pass up the opportunity to serve. – Jon Kennedy

We are all creations of God…
Regardless
of whether we’re young, old, rich, poor, healthy, sick or unable to function, we
are all creatures of the flesh who are conceived, born, live our lives in some
way, and pass on. Not one person has something that makes them better than
everyone else. We are all creations of God, and therefore have a divine common
ground from where we come, along with a divine purpose. We are all truly
the same. – Jon Kennedy

A world overflowing with humanitarians…
The
food, health care and pharmaceutical drug industries are all working together.
We eat the chemical laden foods that are available to us. Next, we become ill
over a period of time from all of the chemicals we’ve ingested from our food and
need medical care. Finally, with medical care comes the need for pharmaceutical
drugs for the treatment – not cure – of your illnesses. After all, there is no
money to be made in curing someone’s ills. How obvious is it that at least
these three industries are working together? Very obvious! It’s up to us to
figure out how not to end up in their system of ill living that they so desperately
want us all to be a part of. Avoid all of the chemicals that you possibly can
in your food, hygiene and cleaning products. Because none of us will ever be
void of all the chemicals in and from our environment, just do the best you can
with the situation. Stay positive and keep in mind that someday, those who have
wronged many of us will not be allowed their ways indefinitely. Here’s to a
world overflowing with humanitarians! God bless us all! – Jon Kennedy

The food that we eat today…
We
hear that two-thirds of America is obese and that the number is rising, causing
many people a number of health problems. The food that we eat today is not the
food people were eating before this epidemic began. What we don’t hear is the
reason for the obesity epidemic. Why? Because the media is, in-part, controlled
by the packaged food industry. What it comes down to is that our bodies don’t
know how to properly process ingredients like high fructose corn syrup and
hydrogenated ingredients (among others), so the unhealthy weight stays with us
from packaged foods. If this isn’t obvious, nothing is. By the way, when you
eat packaged food items containing hydrogenated ingredients, the chemical
structure is only one molecule away from being plastic! Is your mouth watering
now? Overall, it’s not necessarily our fault that we’re an obese nation; it’s
the fault of corporations who are feeding us these weird and unhealthy so-call
meals, snacks and sweets. You are on your own to figure this out. So now that
you know, find alternatives to all of the packaged food items you’ve been
eating and do the best that you can with this situation we’re all in. Keep the
ingredients list in your foods down to just one when possible, i.e. meat,
poultry, fish, fruits and vegetables. Go organic as well. Here’s to your
health! – Jon Kennedy

Happy 4th of July!
Thank God we can
celebrate Independence Day 2012! If the invention of America had never taken
place by our forefathers, followed by the American Revolution, we would be a
different people altogether. Of course, we would never know what freedoms we
had been denied at citizens. But since we do know, this is a perfect moment to
be grateful for our very abundant lives as Americans. What a great place to
live, breathe! Happy 4th of July! God bless the USA! – Jon Kennedy

This moment is the only moment…
Your
life can be beautiful if you decide it to be by living in the moment, not the
past and not the future – just right now. Is this possible? It is if you choose
it to be. If you’ve ever found it challenging to concentrate and focus while
you’re praying to God, it’s because you have to live in the moment in order to
do it. This is the only way to remain in touch with our creator. If this has
been a challenge for you, then think about how much of your life has probably
been spent not living in the moment. This moment is the only moment in which
you will ever be able to do anything at all, not some other moment of the past
or future that happens to be on your mind in this moment. – Jon Kennedy
